About the Role

Responsibilities
- Hosts and prepares residents’ meals in a bistro-style restaurant.
- Sets and clears tables.
- Takes resident food and beverage orders.
- Serves residents in a timely professional manner.
- Manages all other aspects of bistro operations.
- Demonstrates superior customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Correctly uses the Point of Sale system to process orders and payments.
- Correctly opens and closes the Point of Sale system at the start and finish of each shift.
- Prepares meals from the menu and promotes food items and coffee drinks.
- Ensures the grab and go is always stocked and that back up for the grab and go is made and rotated.
- Determines Panini specials for the day with help from the chef.
- Displays a welcoming and outgoing attitude toward all diners, residents, their families, and potential residents.
- Ensures the Bistro remains clean and orderly.
- Maintains temperature logs and par stock lists on a daily basis.
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Requirements
- One (1) or more years of customer service experience.
- Basic Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- TIPS or other alcohol service training.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Must be able to carry a tray with at least six (6) meals and/or beverages at any given time.
- Must be able to serve up to twenty (20) residents and guests throughout the meal period.

- $18.00/hr - $21.60/hr
