Responsibilities

  • Participate in outpatient clinics.
  • Provide first assist in the operating room.
  • Gain exposure to radiology, musculoskeletal ultrasound, sports rehabilitation, regenerative medicine, and pediatric orthopedics.
  • Develop healthcare business skills for independent practice in nonoperative orthopedics.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.
  • NCCPA certified (may apply and interview if eligible).
  • Submit transcripts from physician assistant program.
  • Provide 2 letters of recommendation.
  • Submit a current CV.
  • Submit a Personal Statement.
  • Hold a Texas PA license (or have a pending application).
