About the Role
The Deployment Coordinator manages customer implementations of Petual's SaaS platform, focusing on internal audit, enterprise risk, and SOX compliance teams. This role is responsible for the entire deployment lifecycle, from kickoff to go-live, including planning, timeline management, data migration, and handover to Customer Success. The position requires bridging the gap between compliance rigor and software rollout, communicating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead kickoff calls and develop detailed deployment plans with milestones, owners, and dates.
- Manage 5-10 concurrent implementations, tracking tasks, risks, and dependencies.
- Conduct weekly status meetings and provide clear recaps with decisions, action items, and next steps.
- Proactively escalate blockers with proposed solutions to customer sponsors and internal leads.
- Understand customer's risk and control matrix (RCM), processes, and control owners to guide platform usage.
- Migrate controls, test procedures, and evidence from various sources like spreadsheets, GRC tools, or legacy systems.
- Align platform setup with the customer's audit calendar, quarter-end deadlines, and external auditor requirements.
- Coordinate Single Sign-On (SSO), user provisioning, and role-based access with customer IT teams.
- Scope and track integration projects.
- Support customer security and vendor-risk reviews by directing inquiries to the appropriate internal teams.
- Develop template plans, checklists, and knowledge base articles from recurring issues to improve deployment processes.
- Share customer feedback with the Product team, providing clear examples and outlining business impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years in SaaS implementation, professional services, or project coordination, or in internal audit, IT audit, or SOX compliance.
- Working knowledge of Audit, SOX 404, ITGCs, and control testing, including RCMs, walkthroughs, and deficiency evaluation.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, or NIST.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Clear and confident communication skills for diverse audiences, from control owners to executives.
- Proficiency in data manipulation, including cleaning and mapping large spreadsheets in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of SaaS concepts like SSO/SAML, user roles, APIs, and data imports.
