About the Role
Lead catering events at a supervisory level in accordance with assigned Event Orders maintaining client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and guests.
- Interpret and execute BEO instructions and articulate them to staff.
- Adhere to event timelines as scheduled: doors, meal times, etc.
- Monitor staff duties to ensure efficiency.
- Lead set up of all catering facilities for events.
- Direct staff during breakdown of events.
- Maintain clean tables and banquet area.
- Take orders from customers and serve courses in a timely manner.
- Ensure staff adheres to schedule.
- Assist in training new staff as directed by Director of Food and Beverage.
- Provide high levels of customer service at all times.
- Complete End of Event Report and ensure bank drop at event conclusion.
- Adhere to Zoo policies and protocols.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Two years serving experience.
- Strong guest service and leadership abilities.
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.
- Food and beverage experience preferred.
