Responsibilities
- Live the company’s values by displaying high standard characteristics and behaviors that lead to collective success.
- Follow Daily Checklist.
- Clean facility floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Clean all entry doors, windows, and surroundings.
- Collect and process garbage and cardboard.
- Check breakroom and guest restrooms at fixed times and take appropriate action.
- Maintain scullery area, including washing dishes and pans.
- Service, meticulously clean, disinfect, and supply restrooms.
- Spot clean walls, doors, door frames, and spills on the floor.
- Clean the breezeway area prior to opening.
- Maintain the outside parking lot throughout the day to ensure it is clean and free of carts.
- Maintain the outside dumpster area to ensure cleanliness.
- Engage in seasonal and special cleaning projects, such as shoveling and placing umbrellas in the breezeway.
- Properly dispose of garbage and cardboard.
- Clean, organize, and assist with any other items as needed or assigned by the Manager on Duty.
- Present a professional image to internal/external customers and vendors with appropriate dress, grooming, and hygiene.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly personality.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle direction and re-direction from the Manager on Duty.
- Strong self-motivating skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, and sit.
- Must be able to use hands to handle and feel objects, perform fine finger movements, reach with hands and arms, and have the ability to see, talk, and hear.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail store environment, standing on feet all day.
