About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Landscape Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, ensuring landscapes thrive. This role requires a knack for problem-solving, a strong work ethic, and a love for the outdoors.

Responsibilities

Install irrigation systems, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
Work closely with team members on various projects.
Maintain tools and equipment in top condition, adhering to safety protocols.
Provide exceptional service to clients, answering questions and offering solutions.

Requirements

Previous professional experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing landscape irrigation systems.
Strong hands-on knowledge of commercial irrigation systems.
Experience repairing valves, sprinkler heads, piping, controllers, wiring, and other irrigation components.
Ability to independently diagnose irrigation problems and determine appropriate repairs.
Experience troubleshooting irrigation controllers and basic electrical components.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to accurately document completed repairs and additional repair needs.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
Commercial landscaping or commercial irrigation experience is highly preferred.
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
Ability to walk commercial properties and job sites for extended periods.
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work at ground level.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment.
Comfortable performing physical labor, including digging and accessing underground irrigation components.
Ability to safely work around active commercial landscaping operations and outdoor job-site conditions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication abilities, fostering teamwork and positive interactions with clients and colleagues alike.
Ability to lift, push, and pull weights of up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.
Skilled in manual dexterity, with strong wrist and finger movement for various tasks.
Comfortable performing physical labor, including digging and operating machinery, for extended periods.
Resilient in diverse working conditions, from extreme temperatures to challenging environments, while maintaining safety awareness.
