About the Role
Mollie Stone’s Markets is seeking individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders, ensuring product quality and adhering to food safety standards. This role involves direct customer communication via an app to manage order changes and substitutions, and requires efficient management of multiple orders while maintaining speed and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack items based on customer orders.
- Ensure product quality by selecting fresh, unexpired items and adhering to food safety standards.
- Communicate with customers via the app to handle any changes or product substitutions.
- Communicate any concerns and/or opportunities to increase sales to Store Management.
- Follow store-specific processes for navigating aisles and scanning items.
- Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining speed and accuracy.
- Operate with care in handling and packing fragile or temperature-sensitive items.
- Process orders in a timely manner and complete the in-store purchase successfully.
- Prepare items for pick-up.
- Cross-train and work in other positions throughout the store.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of grocery items and ability to make appropriate substitutions.
- Smartphone with the Instacart Shopper app installed.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
