About the Role
KPFF's Austin office is seeking interns for its Summer 2027 program to work closely with local engineers on a variety of projects. This role offers a unique environment fostering innovation and idea exchange, with a commitment to developing skilled engineers through hands-on training and mentorship.
Requirements
- Current student who has completed at least 3 years of BS Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
- Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA or above in Bachelor’s coursework.
- Understanding of structural engineering fundamentals (free body diagrams, P/V/M diagrams, etc.).
- BS Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering and in-process of obtaining Master’s degree in Civil/Structural.
- Previous internship experience in a Structural or Civil Engineering role.
- Transcripts showing completed coursework in Structural Statics and Dynamics, Steel Design, Concrete Design, Wood Design, Seismic Analysis and Design.
