About the Role
Green Ivy Schools is seeking on-call Substitute Preschool Teachers for the upcoming school year. This role supports the educational environment at Pine Street School, which offers Spanish and Mandarin immersion programs and utilizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme.
Responsibilities
- Create welcoming, functional, safe, attractive, de-cluttered, stimulating and physically comfortable learning environments
- Assist children during bathroom or hygiene-related activities
- Work with and follow the team's guidelines with regards to classroom schedule, activities, and norms
- Step in for absent teachers and follow the guidance of other teachers or the Substitute Coordinator
Requirements
- Montessori and/or IB teaching experience preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Education or a related field (Masters preferred)
- Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience
- Fluent in English
- Legally authorized to work now and in the future in the United States
