About the Role
Hallmark Media is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. This role will partner closely with business leaders to deliver financial insights, strengthen planning capabilities, and support strategic decision-making in the media landscape.
Responsibilities
- Support the company’s annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long‑range planning processes.
- Build, maintain, and enhance financial models to assess business performance and support strategic and operational decisions.
- Deliver clear and insightful variance analyses, performance reports, and financial dashboards for business leads and stakeholders.
- Support financial reporting packages that align with corporate goals and provide consistent, accurate, and well‑structured insights.
- Participate in scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and ad‑hoc strategic projects.
- Contribute to improvements in FP&A tools, systems, processes, and methodologies, helping to drive efficiency and enhance financial planning capabilities.
- Partner across the finance organization to ensure alignment, transparency, and strong business support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related fields, preferably in high-growth environments within media, entertainment, or streaming.
- Strong foundation in accounting, forecasting, and scenario planning, paired with advanced analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and variances.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel; comfort working with large data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain financial information, summarize complex concepts, and influence business partners and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
