About the Role
The Chief of Staff Intern will work directly with the CEO and Chief of Staff during a critical growth phase, focusing on the lead-up to the company's first production run. This role involves owning real workstreams rather than shadowing, requiring initiative and the ability to develop plans from half-formed tasks.
Responsibilities

- Manage scheduling logistics and meeting preparation for key external discussions.
- Maintain candidate tracking, scheduling, and re-engagement in the hiring pipeline.
- Assist with sourcing outreach for open roles via LinkedIn and email.
- Track manufacturing logistics for scaling production, including BOM, freight/customs, and vendor follow-ups.
- Coordinate contract execution, including initial redlines and escalating negotiations.
- Maintain the company's capitalization table and board materials.
- Translate technical milestones and pilot progress into content such as photos, videos, and social posts.
- Drive partnerships with universities, companies, and research labs.
- Support event logistics, including hosting, attendance, and post-event follow-through.
- Undertake special projects as needed by the company.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building projects, clubs, research, or shipped products, even at a student scale.
- Comfort with performing unglamorous but essential tasks, such as chasing invoices and drafting communications.
- Strong writing skills, capable of drafting content that will be published under another person's name.
- Genuine curiosity about robotics and the company's mission.
