About the Role

Forward Deployed AI Engineers (FDEs) will sit inside business lines, learn the work from those doing it, and bootstrap AI agents to transform how that work gets done. You will own a business line as a one-person engineering team, leveraging a central AI team's methodology, platform, and patterns to solve business problems.

Responsibilities

Build and ship agents for a specific business line in close partnership with its SMEs and operators.
Stand up MCP servers and connectors, progressing from pre-production to production.
Bootstrap skills, integrations, and evaluations on JLL's AI platform.
Run workshops with business teams to teach them Claude Code and translate their workflows into agent skills.
Hand over mature systems to platform and operations teams.
Feed patterns, anti-patterns, and platform gaps back into the Center of Excellence.

Requirements

Shipped production agents using Claude Agent SDK, MCP, or an equivalent stack.
Production code experience in Python, Node, or .NET, with the ability to work across these languages.
Experience with diverse data stores including relational, NoSQL, object/blob, vector, and document.
Experience operating end-to-end as a one-person team, covering design, shipping, support, and hand-off.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort interacting with non-engineers.
Pragmatic judgment regarding when to ship, harden, or hand off systems.
Systems thinking with a focus on failure modes.
Comfort with tasking and the ability to run multiple agents in parallel as part of daily workflow.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
