About the Role

Ensuring guest and employee safety and cleanliness in the pool area, along with the maintenance and upkeep of the pool, exercise studio, and public areas.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees in the pool area by monitoring pool usage and enforcing safety rules.
Verify that only registered guests and their guests utilize the pool and exercise room facilities.
Maintain proper chemical and temperature levels in the pool, whirlpool, and sauna as directed.
Ensure the safety of all exercise equipment through daily checks.
Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the pool area using a checklist.
Ensure the cleanliness of pool restrooms, locker rooms, and exercise studio, and maintain supply inventory.
Greet, assist with programming, and monitor children’s and family activities in the Kid Zone and other family areas, ensuring adherence to rules.
Perform other related duties as directed by Manager.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
Successful completion of Red Cross or equivalent Water/Life Safety course.
Successful completion of Red Cross or equivalent First Aid course.
Successful completion of an accredited CPR course.
Proficient in water life safety techniques.
Ability to alternately sit, stand, and swim during the entire shift.
