About the Role

The Director of Admissions leads and manages a comprehensive admissions and enrollment program, serving as a primary ambassador for St. Louis Catholic School. Responsibilities

  • Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the school's mission.
  • Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling Catholic Church teachings.
  • Supports and adheres to the Code of Conduct and policies of the school and Diocese.
  • Maintains confidentiality and advocates for the school's mission.
  • Presents the school to prospective families through communication, outreach, and events.
  • Promotes the school's Catholic identity, Montessori philosophy, academic programs, and student life.
  • Plans and implements a comprehensive admission program including tours, open houses, and orientations.
  • Serves as the primary relationship manager for prospective families throughout the admissions process.
  • Prepares admission materials, engages a parent enrollment committee, and maintains admissions marketing.
  • Provides input into marketing and communication strategies to increase awareness and inquiries.
  • Develops and maintains admissions-related marketing materials and resources.
  • Ensures admissions information across all platforms is accurate, current, and aligned with the school's brand and Catholic identity.
  • Manages the FACTS admissions application portal for applications, communication, enrollment tracking, and reporting.
  • Provides technical assistance to families navigating the FACTS platform and admissions process.
  • Prepares statistical, enrollment, inquiry, conversion, and other reports as requested.
  • Communicates effectively and collaboratively with administration, faculty, staff, students, families, parish leadership, and community partners.
  • Meets staff development guidelines.
  • Demonstrates professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits.
  • Collaborates with others to enhance the work environment.
  • Attends meetings as needed to coordinate school and admissions events.
  • Attends and participates in faculty meetings and professional or community organizations.
  • Supports front office staff and operations.
  • Supervises and coordinates volunteers.

Requirements

  • Must submit an Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Application for Ministry within the first week of employment.
  • Must participate in an EIM Basic abuse prevention training workshop within 30 days of submitting a complete Application for Ministry.
  • Must maintain EIM compliance during the entire term of employment.
  • All employees must adhere to the Catholic Schools Standards of Conduct, the Diocese of Austin EIM policies, and the social, ethical, and moral teachings of the Roman Catholic Church as interpreted by the Bishop of Austin.
  • Texas is an “at-will” employment state.

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in school admissions, with direct and primary responsibility for managing relationships with prospective families OR equivalent in a sales, recruiting, or marketing role.
