About the Role

Seeking an organized and personable Apartment Tour Manager to support the leasing process for affordable and income-restricted housing. This role involves scheduling and hosting apartment tours, coordinating with housing applicants, and collaborating with project managers, developers, and building management teams. The ideal candidate will quickly grasp key knowledge to ensure a smooth and successful leasing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with MGNY Project Managers and developer clients to organize in-person tours of affordable apartments across New York City.
  • Schedule and confirm tours with qualified applicants, ensuring clear communication and a positive applicant experience.
  • Travel to various properties and lead tours for qualified applicants.
  • Track invitations and attendance, providing consistent updates and reporting to MGNY Project Managers.
  • Contribute to the coordination of the tour process for projects with varying scopes and sizes.
  • Learn and retain key details about multiple properties to effectively sell their features and assist with conversion.
  • Master key knowledge areas, including lottery marketing, lease-up processes, rent stabilization, and rental subsidies.
  • Coordinate with property owners and management teams to prepare for rental subsidy unit inspections when required.
  • Act as a proactive and engaged team member, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate tracking systems for each application and project, coordinating closely with Project Managers and Directors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed based on business requirements.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Quick to learn new concepts, resourceful, and adaptable.
  • Results-driven with a focus on following through on commitments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products.
  • A criminal background check is required.
