About the Role

The Stockroom Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the stockroom and back of house operations, acting as a main touch point with consumers and setting the tone for the brand experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the wider management team to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives.
  • Process deliveries, transfers, and other stock-related duties accurately.
  • Accept incoming deliveries onto the system.
  • Organize stock in the stockroom and use initiative to improve stock management.
  • Ensure replenishment on the shop floor is completed correctly and in a timely fashion by delegating to the team.
  • Be a key player in SKU accuracy and stock takes.
  • Analyze store-level reports and create action plans to improve results.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings and other staff meetings.
  • Clearly communicate store and individual sales goals, key performance expectations, and sales results to staff, providing guidance for improvement.
  • Manage communication boards and facility-related items (access controls, alarm systems).
  • Act as an RFID champion for central London, collaborating with the central operations team and assisting other stores as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with key departments/personnel in HO, B&M team, facilities, and loss prevention.
  • Work with the Store Manager (SM) to compile feedback on product and stock concerns/issues, producing weekly reports, analysis, interpretation, and action plans for the management team.
  • Hold daily/weekly Stockroom (SR) walks with the SM or Assistant Store Manager (ASM).
  • Oversee the rollout and operation of in-store omni-channel and digital projects.

Requirements

  • Previous track record within hospitality or retail.
  • Previous stock handling experience.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships with ease.
  • Ability to work well with change, adapting quickly and working with pace.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements.

Skills

  • Knowledge of stock control systems preferably FIORI, Store Force and RFID.
