Responsibilities
- Educate patients and couples about the causes of infertility and discuss necessary evaluation, treatment, and/or procedure plans.
- Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure assessment and teaching.
- Consult with patients regarding treatment protocols, medications, and/or required testing or procedures.
- Assist as needed in surgical cases and transfers.
- Make necessary measurements and calculations while performing ultrasound procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing, or Doctor of Nursing degree.
- Current New York State Nursing license.
- Current New York State Certification (Yellow/diploma-like document).
- Valid and current Nurse Practitioner license required.
- Valid and current Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (ANCC, AANP, or specialty board).
- BLS and/or ACLS Certified.
- High level of customer service essential and must be a self-starter.
