About the Role
Join Sodexo's Health & Care team as a Part Time Cook at the Kids Hospital, contributing to a better everyday life for everyone by providing excellent food services.
Responsibilities
- Support the Chef in executing daily activities for food service offerings and a la carte menu.
- Prepare general food production, cook, and serve.
- Follow Sodexo programs: Food Safety, Health and Safety, Policies and Procedures, and Marketing.
- Prepare meals following standardized recipes.
- Work within a set budget to reduce waste and improve production, safety, and sanitation.
- Plan menus, estimate quantities, and ensure proper procurement.
- Complete all HACCP related documents.
- Set an example for other employees by applying Sodexo's food safety standards.
- Practice all relevant department and facility policies and procedures, including health and safety programs.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Weekend availability is required.
