About the Role
Help unlock the full potential of the cannabis plant and its ingredients and make them usable for people. As part of our Finance team, you will take responsibility for our closing and reporting processes in an environment that combines corporate structures with start-up speed. As a publicly traded company, our documentation and reporting requirements are constantly growing: You will ensure that our figures are reliable, keep an eye on data quality, and provide management with the basis for sound decisions. You will work closely with Big Four players and grow with us into new markets.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, working closely with Accounting and Finance.
- Ensure reliable figures, secure data quality, and reconcile financially relevant key figures and reports.
- Independently book business transactions and assist with accounts payable invoices, travel expense reports, and employee expenses.
- Support growing documentation and compliance requirements resulting from our stock exchange listing, and help structure and file processes cleanly.
- Collaborate closely with external auditors and tax advisors during audits.
- Support management with well-founded ad-hoc analyses that provide real decision-making bases.
Requirements
- Ideally completed training as a certified accountant (IHK) or possess a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting.
- Work in a structured, analytical, and independent manner, demonstrating strong affinity for numbers, accuracy, and reliability.
- Sound knowledge of accounting and confident booking of business transactions, including understanding of chart of accounts (SKR04), booking logic (debit/credit), VAT and input tax regulations, and financial and reporting processes.
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English skills, both written and spoken.
