About the Role
As a Housekeeping Aide in Long Term Care, you will provide heartfelt support to our residents by maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment. Each day offers a new chance to enhance your skills and strengthen your bonds with both colleagues and the residents you assist. Responsibilities
- Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of the residents’ rooms as well as the common areas in the community
- Ensure the supplies are suitable and the equipment is in proper working order
- Deliver the cleaning in a positive and professional manner
- Ensure residents' privacy is respected
- Prepare rooms for new Residents ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming
Requirements
- Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
- Must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
