About the Role
The Finance team at Augustus Management GmbH is expanding and seeks a professional to manage capital liabilities, including bank reporting, liquidity management, and new financing acquisitions. This role involves close collaboration with various departments and offers the chance to automate and professionalize processes.
Responsibilities
- Structure and close financings by acquiring new property and project financings, managing renewals, and negotiating term sheets and loan agreements.
- Prepare financing documents, including financial exposés, credit requests, and data rooms.
- Manage bank reporting and covenants by preparing regular reports for financing partners and monitoring KPIs like DSCR, LTV, and ICR.
- Control liquidity for all companies and projects, both operationally and strategically.
- Manage the existing finance portfolio, maintain databases, and track maturities, interest rate commitments, and conditions.
- Develop processes by contributing ideas for automation and professionalization and implementing them.
Requirements
- Relevant professional experience in real estate financing, ideally from a banking background or a comparable role.
- Solid understanding of financing structures, credit processes, covenants, and loan documentation.
- Very good Excel skills and enjoyment of data work.
- Negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and confidence when dealing with banks and investors.
- Independent and precise work style.
- Willingness to help shape a department.
- Availability for at least 35 hours per week.
- Fluent German, both written and spoken.
