About the Role
Elmwood is seeking a passionate Senior Designer to join their London studio. This role is integral to project teams across various industry sectors, delivering exceptional creative work and pushing creative boundaries for clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end creative work from concept to final design across a range of client portfolios and briefs.
- Conceptualize and deliver innovative design thinking for global and local clients, with a strong grasp of brand identity.
- Develop designs in line with client briefs and under the guidance of Design/Creative Directors.
- Deliver compelling presentations to articulate conceptual ideas and inspire teams and clients.
- Review quality assurance and design specifications throughout projects.
- Source, create, and research relevant assets, including image searching, designing visuals, and overseeing photography briefs.
- Lead creative delivery on client projects and support middleweight and junior designers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar agency environment at a Senior Designer or Junior Design Director level.
- Experience working on both digital and print client briefs, with awareness of best practices.
- Experience designing for brands of all sizes, from global corporations to start-ups.
- Strong experience in creating packaging design, brand identities, and digital activations.
- A strong portfolio showcasing distinctive, high-quality work with clear strategic intent.
- Passionate about design (digital and print) with the craft and thinking to build memorable brands.
- Confident communicator with an understanding of key design terminology.
- Ability to manage own workflow and meet required timings.
- Eager to develop skillset in a positive learning environment.
- Team player, able to take direction and learn from peer feedback.
- Creative problem solver and visual thinker.
- Stays up-to-date with the latest design insights and brand engagement strategies.
- Willing to push creative boundaries while adhering to client briefs.
