About the Role
We are building a new cloud product from scratch, incorporating agent-based AI features like Chatbot, Copilot, and MCP. This is an opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven software development, leveraging 35 years of experience and a loyal customer base.
Responsibilities
- Implement features in our new Next.js cloud platform (React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL) with mentoring and growing responsibility.
- Utilize coding agents daily (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.) for planning, delegation, and review of AI-generated code.
- Contribute to AI features, including tool integrations via MCP, agent flows with LangGraph, prompt design, and guardrails for chatbot and copilot.
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React/Next.js.
- Implement API endpoints and database queries, gradually building full-stack expertise.
- Write tests and document features to ensure compatibility with AI agents.
Requirements
- Solid foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- First practical experience with React and Next.js from internships, working student roles, bootcamps, or personal projects.
- Proficiency in SQL and Git.
- Demonstrated experience programming with AI-assisted tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) and ability to showcase projects.
- Willingness to understand LLM agents, including Tool Calling, MCP, LangGraph/LangChain, Prompting, and Evaluation.
- Completed university degree (Computer Science or similar), vocational training as an IT specialist, or a career change with a demonstrable portfolio.
- High self-initiative, quick learning ability, and eagerness to learn from reviews and mistakes.
- Fluent German language skills.
- Valid work permit for Germany.
