About the Role
As a Cleaning Team Leader at our club, we’ll expect you to organize your work and plan your time to ensure that cleaning never gets in the way of a customer’s experience. You have a friendly nature and good communication skills. Experience of working in a customer-facing environment will come in handy when you’re interacting with colleagues and customers. You have previously managed or led teams, previous cleaning/facility management experience and knowledge is desirable. You’ll be able to work individually and as part of a team, be well-organized with good time management skills, and have the ability to prioritize and plan around customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and effectively manage a team of cleaners.
- Coordinate with the Site management team / cover shifts as required.
- Ensure the team have areas of responsibility, are following policies and procedures, and creating clean, pleasant and safe environment for customers.
- Guaranteeing that cleaning products used effectively, with instructions as well as health and safety procedures followed at all times.
- Order stock when required as advised by team and individual awareness.
- Update records via the computer as required / prepare monthly rotas.
- Be the point of contact for the reporting of problems within the work areas or equipment and liaising with the management team to advise.
Requirements
- Flexibility: shifts operate between 09:00 – 22:30 on a daily basis.
- Overnight cleaning projects operate on an ad-hoc basis – supervisory support required.
