About the Role
The role involves organizational and conceptual responsibility for the full-day development at a partner primary school, focusing on sports, movement, and basketball. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and lead various movement-based activities and training programs.
Responsibilities
- Organizational and conceptual responsibility for full-day development at a partner primary school in the area of sports, movement, and basketball.
- Close collaboration in multidisciplinary teams at the partner primary school.
- Regular participation in school-internal exchange rounds and team meetings.
- Support and execution of movement activities in curriculum and extracurricular sports, as well as development and implementation of cross-curricular movement programs (e.g., active breaks, active lessons).
- Planning and execution of school-internal training formats in sports and movement.
- Planning and execution of holiday activity programs within the scope of full-day care.
- Building and supervising club and school club teams in the league operations of the Berlin Basketball Association.
Requirements
- Experience in planning and executing movement and sports activities.
- Ideally, experience in guiding and supervising groups, especially children and adolescents.
- Initial experience in project management or the organization of sports or educational activities.
- Practical experience as a trainer or instructor in club, fitness, or recreational settings is advantageous.
- Ideally, qualifications in sports, fitness, or educational fields (e.g., coaching license, instructor, first aid).
- Commitment, reliability, and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Completed vocational training or a degree in a social, sports, or educational field, or a comparable qualification.
- A current extended certificate of good conduct is required for successful employment.
