About the Role
As an asset manager for a fund that operates data center development, you will collaborate with the data center fund management team in Singapore and the local team in Japan. You will be responsible for asset management covering the entire investment period, from development to mid-term operations.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to each investment project from an asset management perspective based on the project's mission, in collaboration with respective teams.
- Lead a small group with the existing staffs under own direction while driving personal results as a playing manager.
- Serve as the most accessible advisor for team members in daily operations to manage work progress and boost on-site motivation.
- Manage cash flow including capital call planning based on the investment plan.
- Provide start-up support for investment vehicles, including SPC establishment.
- Coordinate the execution of investments at the Japanese level.
- Prepare monthly Asset Management reports.
- Manage operations during the investment period in collaboration with construction, finance, accounting, and legal teams in Japan.
- Communicate with the data center team in Singapore and JV partners.
- Manage instructions and approval requests to lenders, trust banks, and property managers.
- Report to fund managers, lenders, and coordinate between internal departments.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of business experience in an asset management company (for both domestic and overseas investment funds), financial institution, trust bank, appraisal, or accounting firm.
- Fluent communication in English, both verbal and written.
- Flexible business style to adopt various management styles regardless of past experiences or business areas.
- Proficiency in working with Excel.
