About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Locksmith/Metalworker to join our production team in a full-time, two-shift system. This role offers a secure and varied job with real development opportunities in a successful, medium-sized metal company.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, align, and ensure the fit of individual parts.
- Professionally and cleanly weld prepared constructions using MAG (135) and TIG (141) methods, focusing on butt and fillet welds up to 15 mm.
- Refine welds and workpieces, deburr, and perform dimensional and visual inspections for flawless quality.
- Check dimensional accuracy, angles, and geometries, and perform visual weld inspections.
- Perform general locksmith tasks and preparatory work for smooth operations.
- Adhere to all occupational safety and security regulations.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, construction mechanic, or in a comparable metalworking trade.
- Sound relevant professional experience in welding/locksmith work.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings.
- Practical proficiency in MAG and TIG welding.
- Valid welding certifications are advantageous; expired certificates will be renewed internally.
- Good German language skills.
- Strong manual dexterity and a high awareness of quality.
- Willingness to work in a regular 2-shift system (early/late shift) and occasional flexibility for overtime.
