About the Role
W Sydney is seeking Bartenders for their Pool Bar and Living Room Bar to focus on customer service and cocktail elaboration. This role involves creating unique and vibrant experiences for guests, collaborating with venue management, and contributing to a fun-loving team environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervising daily beverage operations.
- Assisting with beverage offerings and upsells.
- Menu planning.
- Assisting staff on the floor during peak service periods.
- Striving to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction.
- Determining and implementing training needs.
- Welcoming customers, determining beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
- Learning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages.
- Checking identification to ensure legal age for alcohol purchase.
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy, and balancing the cash register.
- Following property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area.
- Developing new cocktail recipes.
- Upselling and recommending signature beverages.
