About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building mechanical systems and HVAC design, with experience developing engineering plans and construction documents for commercial, healthcare, education, residential, or mixed-use projects.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC and mechanical systems for building projects.
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations and equipment sizing.
- Develop mechanical plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Design ductwork, piping, and other HVAC systems.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for mechanical design and documentation.
- Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, electrical, plumbing, and structural disciplines.
- Assist with site visits, field surveys, and construction administration.
- Review project requirements and applicable building codes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of mechanical engineering/design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- EIT preferred but not required.
- PE license is a plus.
- Strong HVAC design experience.
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and mechanical standards.
- Strong communication and project coordination skills.
