About the Role
We are seeking casual General Purpose Hands (GPH) to assist with vessel operations and provide excellent customer service to passengers. This hands-on role involves direct passenger interaction, GPH duties, and cleaning responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with vessel operations and provide customer service to passengers.
- Maintain a safe and compliant marine operation under the direction of the Master.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Handle deck lines and boarding hardware safely.
- Clean passenger cabin and deck areas safely and efficiently.
- Perform watch keeping duties as instructed by the Master.
- Validate passenger tickets, assist passengers, and maintain good passenger relations.
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of passengers on board.
- Sell beverages from the on-board kiosk in compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines.
Requirements
- NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol license
- AMSA General Purpose Hand Certificate of Competency
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid NSW Working with Children’s Check
