About the Role
The bartender provides customized beverage service to restaurant/bar customers in a friendly, energetic, and timely manner, ensuring guests have a great time. Associates are passionate about guest service and possess effective communication and multitasking abilities.
Responsibilities
- Mix and mingle with customers, demonstrating knowledge of drink preparation.
- Provide customized beverage service in a friendly, energetic, and timely manner.
- Ensure guests are having a great time and/or relaxing at the bar.
- Embrace the company culture and personify it in daily interactions.
- Mix all drinks according to company manual guidelines to minimize drink costs.
- Create an energized bar experience through friendly and personalized service.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and account for discrepancies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and optimal condition of the bar and its surroundings.
- Drive product quality and guest satisfaction by operating with ownership.
- Anticipate customer needs and adapt goals and direction quickly.
- Lift trays of beverages or food items weighing up to 30-lbs. regularly.

Requirements
- One to two years of experience as a bartender.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Legal ability to serve alcohol in the state/province.
- Knowledge of state and local guidelines regarding alcohol service.
- Knowledge of drink preparation.
- Computational skills for processing guest payments.
- Ability to lift trays of beverages or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. regularly.
- Additional physical requirements may apply.
- Must be a motivated self-starter.
- Must be conscientious and driven to serve guests with professionalism and courtesy.
