About the Role
The HumeLink West Project is a significant energy infrastructure undertaking, involving the construction of new 500kV transmission lines and substations. This role is crucial for managing project documentation and ensuring adherence to established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Control the identification, registration, distribution, and retention of all project documentation.
- Ensure approved document control procedures and protocols are consistently applied.
- Provide instruction and guidance to team members on document control procedures.
- Maintain document tracking registers.
- Coordinate the distribution of client comments and subsequent responses.
- Upload design documents to the client's Electronic Document Management System (ProjectWise).
- Provide support and input to monthly reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a document control role.
- Experience with Ineight (Teambinder), Sharepoint and ProjectWise.
- Previous experience in document control on major construction/infrastructure projects.
- A good standard of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

About the Company
- HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project connecting Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW, significantly increasing the capacity of Australia’s eastern states electricity network.
- HumeLink is one of Australia’s largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure.
- The HumeLink West scope of works, worth $1.4bn, includes delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning 130kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.
