About the Role
DrAnsay is professionalizing its Finance function to support its next phase of growth. This role is newly created to ensure financial data is reliable, reconciled, and understandable, bridging the gap between accounting and the data team. The focus is on hands-on data work to make existing processes reliable, rather than strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Link and verify invoices with orders, ensuring alignment of revenue, payment, and accounting data.
- Prepare, clean, and provide historical financial data for the accounting department's direct use.
- Take over and improve existing processes, making them more reliable, even if not fully documented.
- Prepare and visualize controlling data understandably.
- Build and develop central financial and company dashboards.
- Create ad-hoc analyses for revenue and other commercial key figures.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers on data quality, definitions, and sources.
- Support the accounting department in correctly using and interpreting data.
Requirements
- Very strong practical Excel skills, including experience with large datasets, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, or Power Query.
- Approximately two to three years of professional experience in finance, controlling, or analysis, regularly working with financial or controlling data.
- Experience preparing financial or controlling data for others to use.
- Business acumen: understanding the difference between revenue and cash flow and identifying implausible figures.
- Ability to work independently and navigate incompletely described processes.
- Openness to technical topics and AI-driven work methods.
- German at C2 level and good English skills.
- Willingness to perform recurring tasks thoroughly and reliably.
