About the Role
Five Below is seeking passionate, customer-service-oriented individuals to join our team as part-time Seasonal Sales Associates. This temporary role is central to delivering an amazing customer experience during our busy holiday season, from October through January. You'll be at the heart of our energetic stores, driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers promptly, handling multiple customers efficiently.
- Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
- Engage in suggestive selling and stay informed on product availability.
- Promote store events, promotions, and special activities.
- Resolve customer concerns courteously and professionally, aiming to turn returns into exchanges.
- Communicate restocking needs, service requirements, and customer feedback to management.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives.
Requirements
- At least 16 years old.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel.
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (computers, cash registers, mobile devices).
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
- Possess basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.
