About the Role
The Re-engaging Teens Restoring Justice Program focuses on youth ages 14-19 who are at risk of dropping out of school, involved with the juvenile justice system, experiencing homelessness or food insecurity, and lacking connections with supportive adults. Transitional Navigators work within a community-based team, focusing on specific areas like school-based programs, runaway and homeless youth services, teen court, community engagement, or workforce development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a restorative-based system
- Create and oversee data collection and program evaluation processes
- Provide monthly reports to the Associate Director
- Coordinate requests for Prevention Education services
- Outreach and information dissemination
- Referral and referral readiness
- Immediate response and support
- Prevention education
- Social/emotional support services
- Case management
- Immediate crisis response
- Asset development activities
- Transitional services
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Service or related field AND 1-3 years' related experience OR equivalent combination
- A valid driver's license
