About the Role
This position supports the development and execution of revenue management tools and reporting while optimizing room rates, occupancy, and overall profitability for multiple Hilton Hotels in the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and create custom tools/reports.
- Monitor demand and market trends.
- Analyze performance data.
- Prepare forecasts.
- Assist with pricing decisions across all segments.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align revenue plans with overall hotel goals.
- Ensure accurate reporting and adherence to Hilton policies.
- Participate in regular performance reviews.
- Contribute to budgeting and planning processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes and systems.
- Participate in and help facilitate discussions on booking trends, pricing strategies, and revenue opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills and a basic knowledge of VBA/coding is a requirement.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Hospitality Management, Data Analytics or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and practices, with experience in pricing, demand forecasting, and inventory control is a plus.
- Understanding of revenue recognition concepts and basic finance, including familiarity with hotel key performance metrics.
- Foundational accounting skills, with accuracy in reporting and reconciliation of revenue-related data.
- Experience with Hilton Managed systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
