About the Role

As Associate Product Director – Innovation (Maternity Cover), you'll ensure the successful delivery of Trinity College London's Innovation Roadmap and support the launch of new products across our education technology portfolio. This is a delivery-focused leadership role responsible for maintaining momentum across established product initiatives, coordinating priorities, managing delivery risks, and ensuring teams focus on agreed objectives. You will lead day-to-day product operations across Trinity’s products and innovation research projects, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to keep projects on track and deliver key milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful delivery of Trinity College London's agreed Innovation Roadmap
  • Support the launch of new products across our education technology portfolio
  • Maintain momentum across established product initiatives
  • Coordinate priorities
  • Manage delivery risks
  • Ensure teams remain focused on agreed objectives
  • Lead day-to-day product operations across Trinity’s products and innovation research projects
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, developers, designers, researchers, and business stakeholders to keep projects on track and deliver key milestones

Requirements

  • Comfortable stepping into an established environment and quickly getting up to speed
  • Ability to bring structure, clarity and focus to complex programmes of work
  • Confident managing multiple priorities while ensuring delivery remains on track
  • Highly organised, collaborative and pragmatic
  • Strong track record of coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering digital products
  • Ability to confidently follow an agreed roadmap, execute against established priorities, and build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
  • Significant experience managing and delivering digital products or product portfolios
  • Strong operational and delivery leadership skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, design and commercial stakeholders
  • A solid understanding of product management, user research and agile delivery practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly understand existing priorities and deliver against agreed objectives
  • Experience within education technology, digital learning or AI-enabled products would be advantageous
  • Ability to hit the ground running, work effectively within an established team, and provide dependable leadership throughout the maternity cover period
