About the Role

RBC AI Group is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the development of AI-powered conversational banking experiences. This role involves defining the product vision, roadmap, and delivery of applied AI solutions to enhance client interactions and personalize banking services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product vision, positioning, and value proposition for AI solutions.
  • Identify market opportunities and define the multi-year product roadmap.
  • Define and track product KPIs and OKRs.
  • Conduct user research and testing to inform product development.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development process from ideation to launch.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to senior leadership.
  • Develop product marketing material and communicate product enhancements.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the product team.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Champion a test-and-learn approach.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a top-tier technology company or large enterprise, with a focus on AI or machine learning products.
  • In-depth hands-on experience managing a product throughout its entire lifecycle within a large, matrixed enterprise.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong background in AI/ML products, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
