About the Role
Doopic is a Berlin-based company specializing in professional image editing and content production for e-commerce. We process large volumes of product and fashion content daily for renowned national and international clients, combining traditional image editing with modern, AI-supported processes and working with a global network of graphic designers and production teams. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist with experience in professional image editing and a keen eye for detail to join our Berlin team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure image and content material meets individual client requirements.
- Perform quality control and evaluation of professionally edited images from ongoing production.
- Verify results against customer-specific requirements, briefs, and quality standards.
- Review and pre-select images for clients, such as selecting suitable motifs from larger image sets based on defined criteria.
- Collaborate on AI-supported workflows for image selection, editing, and content refinement.
- Apply and further develop AI-supported workflows in daily operations.
- Refine and optimize images, performing minor corrections and adjustments in Adobe Photoshop.
- Identify and document errors, relaying correction requirements to international production teams and freelancers.
- Create, maintain, and develop customer-specific guidelines and quality specifications.
- Coordinate directly with clients on questions regarding image quality, requirements, guidelines, and production results.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Operations team in Berlin.
- Identify recurring quality issues and support continuous improvement of production and QA processes.
Requirements
- Professional experience in image editing, image processing, or digital content production.
- Professional experience in professional image editing, retouching, post-production, or a comparable field.
- Strong understanding of image quality, retouching, visual language, and visual details.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience with e-commerce content, product, fashion, or lifestyle imagery is advantageous.
- Interest in AI-supported image editing and new technologies, with a willingness to actively engage with new tools and workflows.
- Experience in direct customer contact and a confident, professional communication style.
- Ability to understand, categorize, and translate customer requirements and feedback into concrete production quality specifications.
- Excellent eye for detail and the ability to work with concentration, efficiency, and care, even with large volumes of images.
- Structured, reliable, and independent work style.
- Good English language skills for collaboration in an international production environment.
- Good German language skills for professional communication with clients.
