About the Role

We are seeking a Lawyer to join our dedicated Abuse Law team on a full-time, permanent basis in our Sydney office. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish credentials and expertise in a developing area of law, supporting a diverse caseload of Abuse Law matters. You will be challenged to use your technical knowledge and experience in personal injuries litigation to strive for fair outcomes for our clients, fostering relationships with referrers and external parties while growing the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Support a diverse and meaningful caseload of Abuse Law matters.
  • Use technical knowledge and experience in personal injuries litigation to strive for fair outcomes for clients.
  • Foster and manage relationships with referrers and other external parties.
  • Grow the practice.

Requirements

  • Experience within Abuse Law preferred, although experience in Personal injury law will also be considered.
  • Keen interest to specialise in this area of law.
  • Strong legal, commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong client and relationship building skills.
  • Strong client service focus and a passion for helping people.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Ability to manage conflicting business needs and deadlines.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo background checks.
