About the Role
We are seeking a SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Engineer experienced in designing and implementing large-scale solutions and platforms. This role requires strong expertise in SharePoint, Microsoft 365, OneDrive, IIS, PowerShell, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills for presenting technical designs and collaborating with teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale solutions and platforms.
- Perform installations, configurations, and integrations.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of all SharePoint and IIS versions.
- Execute IIS deployment and performance tuning.
- Migrate out-of-the-box or third-party workflows.
- Manage SharePoint Farm deployments, migrations, patching, and upgrades.
- Perform backup and restore of SharePoint and IIS.
- Utilize PowerShell scripting.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint and IIS issues.
- Apply best industry practices.
- Present and communicate technical designs and solutions to peers.
- Interact clearly with on-shore project teams.
- Own and represent specific solution detailed designs through to deployment and acceptance.
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and OneDrive is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of MS SQL.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization, Windows AD, Exchange, DNS, and Microsoft clusters.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
- Strong customer focus, communication skills, and excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be a good team player and individual performer.
- Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple activities.
- Exceptional written skills for creating technical and non-technical solution documentation.
- A self-driven team player with a flexible and dynamic style, able to work with minimum supervision, perform under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
