About the Role
Join our warm, open, and dedicated team at Kita am Tempelhofer Feld, focusing on education for sustainable development, movement, and holistic development for children from their first year up to school entry. We are seeking a pedagogical specialist for our preschool program to help children become curious, confident, and well-prepared for school.
Responsibilities
- Pedagogical care of children, focusing on individual motor, cognitive, and language development, as well as social competence.
- Observation and documentation of children's development.
- Implementation of pedagogical learning activities, theme circles, and morning circles.
- Planning and execution of celebrations, excursions, and projects with the team.
- Responsibility for appropriate material and professional equipment and room design.
- Partnership in education with parents and all individuals involved in the educational process.
- Active participation in team meetings.
Requirements
- State recognition as a childcare professional (Erzieher*in) or comparable qualification.
- Heart and empathy for children.
- Enthusiasm for teamwork and flexibility to embrace new approaches.
- Trusting collaboration with families.
