Wildwood Programs is seeking caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work full-time in a residential setting. This role involves assisting individuals with disabilities in daily activities, teaching them independence, and supporting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with activities such as cooking, laundry, and running errands.
Teach individuals with disabilities how to perform tasks independently.
Take individuals to appointments and activities.
Write notes as needed.
Assist individuals with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must be positive and encouraging with those they support.
Must be professional.
Must have patience and a positive attitude.
Must have a strong desire to help others.
Must enjoy teamwork.
A valid NYS license and clean driving record required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to be med certified.
