About the Role
Deloitte’s AI & Data team is transforming how businesses leverage cloud-native technologies to solve complex challenges in data, machine learning, and AI. We are seeking to expand our team with experienced Data Engineers to help clients design and implement their Agentic strategy and drive significant productivity changes and create business value.
Responsibilities
- Reframe client conversations around demonstrable AI-enabled value.
- Ensure every proposal carries a bold, outcome-changing idea.
- Articulate, sell, and realize value.
- Design and implement world-leading data and AI solutions for public and private sector clients.
- Work with market-leading technology vendors to deliver services at scale.
Requirements
- +4 years experience working with at least one of Databricks, Snowflake, AWS or Azure technology.
- At least 1 formal Certification in Databricks, Snowflake, AWS or Azure.
- Strong experience across at least two of the following: Spark (preferably pySpark), SQL and dbt, data ingestion (streaming or transactional), application experience (e.g. Databricks apps).
- Hands-on development experience in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- SQL and database skills.
- Strong grasp of data fundamentals, preferably with experience with databases, data warehouses, data lakes or other storage solutions.
- Previous consulting or client-facing experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a flexible and dynamic environment.
- Technical certifications will be highly regarded.
