About the Role
Momentum Solar is a premier residential solar provider dedicated to customer satisfaction and employee success. We manage the entire solar process, ensuring a seamless transition to renewable energy for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install inverters, solar panels, and mount hardware while ensuring compliance with blueprints
- Connect panels to the grid, wire batteries, and set up electrical panels
- Repair, replace, and test associated electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments
- Troubleshoot electrical wiring and components
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Weekend availability
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 + years of Electrical experience required
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, specifically article 690 for solar PV systems
- Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, install, replace, and test PV related electrical circuits and associated equipment
- Ability to work at heights, lift 50lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Ability to read residential electrical blueprints and understand apply NEC codes as applicable
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
- Ability to work on roofs and in attics
- Ability to work well with others with a strong focus on teamwork
