About the Role
Student Ambassadors represent the University by assisting with events and activities that engage future students. These roles offer opportunities to gain experience through outreach, recruitment events, campus days, call campaigns, career expos, and mentoring, helping future students understand university life and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Represent the University positively and professionally at events like Open Days, university expos, and on-campus days for high school students.
- Engage prospective students and stakeholders, sharing university experiences with diverse audiences.
- Lead campus tours for prospective students.
- Deliver workshops and presentations on Notre Dame, admissions, scholarships, and university transition.
- Undertake tasks such as organizing merchandise, data entry, event preparation, social media, and phone calls.
- Attend scheduled training, team meetings, and development opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Prospective Students Office, Indigenous Student Support & Success, or Student Equity teams.
Requirements
- Completed at least one semester of study at the University of Notre Dame by the end of 2026.
- Have at least one year of study remaining.
- Possess a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one.
- Available to work at events outside of regular business hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Have current and valid work rights in Australia.
