About the Role
Lead delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement of Community Safety regulatory programs by providing specialist legislative and operational advice, strengthening governance and data integrity, and improving business systems and processes across Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS), Automatic Fire Alarms (AFA), Hazmat, User Pays, and related programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement of Community Safety regulatory programs.
- Provide specialist legislative and operational advice.
- Strengthen governance and data integrity.
- Improve business systems and processes across Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS), Automatic Fire Alarms (AFA), Hazmat, User Pays, and related programs.
Requirements
- Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, and policy within a regulatory, compliance, or government environment.
- Experience leading or contributing to business improvement initiatives, including process, system, and workflow enhancements.
- Ability to analyze complex information and provide clear, evidence-based advice and recommendations, including written reports.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a related discipline (e.g., law, public policy, compliance, business, or similar).

Salary/Compensations
- Package up to $166,549 pa. Includes salary range ($133,348 pa to $146,945 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
