About the Role
An IT Architect with deep understanding of unified communications/messaging infrastructure, capable of building hybrid environments or migrating user data to Office 365. This role requires awareness of cloud security approaches for information protection and the ability to lead projects in complex environments. The architect will provide top-level business and technology consultancy services and input to M365-based solutions as a recognized Architect or Design Authority, liaising with stakeholders in Cloud adoption and transformation projects to ensure security by design.
Responsibilities
- Build hybrid environments or migrate user data from on-premise infrastructure to Office 365.
- Understand security approaches for information protection in cloud environments.
- Lead projects in complex environments.
- Present business cases, strategies, and solutions.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of processes for migrating user data and configuration settings.
- Provide top-level business and technology architecture consultancy services.
- Provide input to the design of M365 based solutions.
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders involved in Cloud adoption and transformation projects.
- Deliver security by design in every phase of the project.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience in designing, solutioning, and migrating workloads to M365.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure AD and M365.
- Good knowledge of Workplace transformation for End users embracing M365 services.
- At least 3 years of practical experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online (OneDrive), Teams, Skype for Business Online, and Azure AD.
- At least 3 years of experience with User Data Managing, Client Assess, Federation Trusts, Mail flow, and key security aspects of Exchange Server Infrastructure (On-Premise).
- Deep understanding of Authentication Protocols, Data Synchronization, and security aspects of Identity Management (Active Directory, ADFS, MIM).
- Understanding of SharePoint architecture and data migration approaches.
- Knowledge of an IT process model like ITIL.
