About the Role

This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience with one of the world's largest sports, media, and entertainment companies. Participants will engage in real-world projects, developing valuable work experience and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with schedule entries.
  • Conduct analysis and reports on FOX, FS1, FS2, and competitive networks.
  • Conduct background research on various sports and studio programming across television.
  • Proofread write-ups and math on analysis reports.
  • Perform data entry and manipulation.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the program.
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above.
  • Maintain a strong academic record.
  • Be committed and available for the entire program duration.
  • Have access to personal housing and transportation to/from the internship site.
  • Must be able to work on-site in New York, NY.
  • Submit a 1-page resume (PDF preferred).
  • Submit a cover letter (PDF Preferred).
  • Explain suitability for the program in the cover letter.
  • Provide a copy of an unofficial transcript or letter from adviser/registrar showing proof of enrollment and GPA.

Skills

  • Knowledge of current FOX Sports programming and talent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work well in teams and collaborative efforts.
  • Self-starter attitude and proactive nature.
  • Knowledge of and passion for a variety of sports.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the media industry and its current market trends and dynamics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Experience with Nielsen programs such as NCL, NPower, and NNTV is a plus.
  • Preferred majors include History, Research, Math, Statistics, English, or Journalism.
