• Hours 10-20 hrs./week, meets/practices dependent

Requirements

• Candidates must have a detailed knowledge of current practices, rules, principles and technical skills of the sport they are applying to coach for.
• Candidates must demonstrate the ability to recruit and sustain a program.
• Proof of NYS fingerprinting clearance is required

• NYS Coaching certification

Experience Level

• Head/assistant coaching experience at the Modified level or equivalent credentials preferred

Education Level

• NYS Coaching certification
• Completed an internship for the particular sport OR possess a temporary or permanent NYS coaching license for the particular sport
• Valid First Aid course
• Valid Adult CPR certification
• Workshop - Child Abuse Identification
• Workshop - School Violence Intervention and Prevention
• Workshop - Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)
• Valid Concussion Management Certificate (preferred)
